2026-2027 CDBG funding recommendations and
action item that expands the role of the Community Services Commission to include advising the City Council
on social, community, and human service needs, as well as conducting community needs assessment to
support vulnerable members of the community. Speakers: Community Service Commissioners Calvin Wong,

resolution of intention to approve an amendment to the City of Hayward's contract with CalPERS and
introduction of Ordinance to approve the contract amendment and authorize staff to execute the contract. RES

Mayor Salinas adjourned the City Council meeting at 10:09 p.m. in memory of Rosemary Ramos and Dennis Up,
