Government Code section 54957(b)(1).  
City Attorney Lawson and Mayor Salinas reported that  
the City Council met and discussed the item but took no reportable action.

2026-2027 CDBG funding recommendations and  
action item that expands the role of the Community Services Commission to include advising the City Council  
on social, community, and human service needs, as well as conducting community needs assessment to  
support vulnerable members of the community. Speakers: Community Service Commissioners Calvin Wong,

introduction of Ordinance to approve the contract amendment and authorize staff to execute the contract. RES
