Recommendation

That the Council Public Safety Committee receives the Police Chief’s CALEA assessment/update oral report and provides feedback.

SUMMARY

The Police Chief will provide a report to the Council Public Safety Committee regarding the Police Department’s assessment by The Commission of Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA). A slide presentation will be shown at the committee meeting and uploaded to Legistar as an attachment.
