RECOMMENDATION
Recommendation
That the City Council: 1) reviews one Clean and Green Commission, two Community Services Commission, one Library Commission, and three Personnel Commission reappointment requests; 2) reviews the annual report of Council’s appointed bodies including members’ attendance records, completion of required trainings, and overall performance; and 3) confirms the process for conducting the annual City commission interviews on August 25, 2026.

SUMMARY
The annual recruitment for City commissions was conducted from March 10, 2026 through July 31, 2026. There are currently nine vacancies across the commissions, two members not seeking reappointment, and seven requests for reappointment, as summarized in Table 1. A total of sixty-nine applications were received by the submission deadline, and sixty-five applicants qualified for consideration. Attachment II provides the final list of qualified applicants and their stated service preference. A digital binder containing all qualified applications was made available to the City Council on August 7, 2026.
