RECOMMENDATION
Recommendation
That Council adopts a resolution (Attachment II) appointing Hayward Youth Commission Alternates Jesus Alejandro Reynoso and Temiloluwa Ogunkanmi to fill the seats of Sharana Sabesan and Niki Shiva for terms expiring June 30, 2025.

SUMMARY
Sharana Sabesan was appointed to the Hayward Youth Commission on June 15, 2021 and reappointed on June 20, 2023. Niki Shiva was appointed on June 20, 2023. Since Sharana Sabesan and Niki Shiva have not attended meetings since September 2023, Hayward Youth Commission advisors are recommending that their seats be declared vacant. Jesus Alejandro Reynoso and Temiloluwa Ogunkanmi were appointed to the Hayward Youth Commission as alternate members on June 20, 2023 and have been selected from the Alternate List and recommended to fulfill the unexpired terms, which will end June 30, 2025.
