Recommendation
That the Council reviews the attached working agenda and engages in a dialogue around proposed updates to the Strategic Roadmap for the City of Hayward.

SUMMARY
It has been one year since the City Council adopted the City’s Strategic Roadmap for FY 2021-23, and six months since the beginning of implementation. In the fall, staff teams for each of the six priority areas in the Roadmap met to discuss first year projects and the impact that the COVID-19 response and other 2020 events have had on staff’s work and ability to accomplish the original first year goals of the Roadmap. Staff has prepared recommended revisions to the Roadmap to reflect timelines that were extended or delayed due to COVID-19, as well as new projects that were added.
This meeting will be a progress update on the Roadmap projects and a chance for the Council to reflect on lessons learned during the past year and share priorities for the coming year.
