SUMMARY

The annual recruitment for City commissions was conducted from March 10, 2026, through July 31, 2026.  Early in the recruitment process, there were nine vacancies across the City’s commissions; however, additional vacancies occurred during the process due to resignations and seats being vacated, bringing the total number of vacancies to fourteen.  The vacancies were as follows: Clean and Green Commission (5), Community Services Commission (5), Library Commission (3), Personnel Commission (0), and Planning Commission (1).

A total of sixty-nine applications were received by the submission deadline, with sixty-five applicants qualifying for consideration. Seventeen applicants were ultimately selected for service on City commissions.  The resolution (Attachment II) confirming the appointment and reappointment of members includes the names of all appointees organized by commission.
