SUMMARY

Staff released a Request for Proposals (RFP) for design services for the HSIP Industrial Parkway/Ruus Road Intersection Improvements and Bikeway Gap Closures Project on July 14, 2026. The project will provide protected left turn phases at the Industrial Parkway/Ruus Road Intersection, updated signal equipment, a protected intersection, and close bikeway gaps on Amador Street and Soto Road. The project does not include any changes to the bike lane on Ruus Road north of the intersection. On August 11, 2026, staff received two proposals, and after review, Kimley-Horn was selected as the recommended consultant.
