RECOMMENDATION
Recommendation
That the Council adopts a resolution (Attachment II) appointing Marhya Kelsch to the Library Commission to fill the unexpired term of Kelly Sullivan, which will expire on September 30, 2027.

SUMMARY
The Council, during its September 12, 2023 Council meeting, confirmed the list of 2023 alternates and selected Marhya Kelsch as the alternate for the Library Commission. On January 17, 2024, Ms. Kelly Sullivan, now former member of the Library Commission, submitted a letter of resignation which created an unexpected vacancy on the Library Commission. Ms. Marhya Kelsch was contacted to confirm her eligibility status and her interest in serving on the Library Commission. If appointed to the Library Commission, Ms. Marhya Kelsch’s term would be effective immediately and would end on September 30, 2027.
