That Council adopts a resolution (Attachment II) authorizing the City Manager to appropriate additional funds in the amount of $120,000 from Transportation System Improvement - Fund 460 for the Traffic Signal Upgrade at Huntwood Avenue, Project No. 05737.

SUMMARY
The City was awarded a Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP) grant in the amount of $774,900 toward the construction portion of the total project cost of $965,000, for the Traffic Signal Modification for Huntwood/Industrial and Huntwood/Sandoval Intersection Project (Project). On October 25, 2022, Council approved the award for the Traffic Signal Upgrade at Huntwood Avenue, Project No. 05737 to W. Bradley Electric, Inc., in the amount of $861,000. The current estimated cost for Project No. 05737 is $1,085,000, which exceeds the amount previously appropriated by $120,000. As a result of the construction bids, additional funding is now needed.
