RECOMMENDATION

 

Recommendation

That the Council adopts a resolution (Attachment II) approving the plans and   specifications, and calling for bids to be received on April 23, 2024, for the Alves Street and Leighton Street Drainage Improvements Project.

SUMMARY

 

This Project proposes drainage improvements by constructing a valley gutter at the intersection of Alves Street and Leighton Street. The Project will also include street pavement grading at the intersection to allow for more optimal drainage from the residential houses to the valley gutter. The project design has been completed and bid documents have been prepared. City staff is requesting Council’s approval of the plans and specifications and call for bids to be received on April 23, 2024.
