SUMMARY

The Hayward Fire Department has chosen Prenuvo Radiology to conduct Whole Body MRI Scans for the frontline members of the Hayward Fire Department. This vital health screening is paramount for the overall health and wellness of our first-responder firefighters, and Prenuvo was overwhelmingly chosen by the internal HFD group assigned to explore cancer screening options for the department due to the complete and comprehensive nature of the exam, while concurrently being a non-invasive procedure. Cancer screening services are a benefit that is contractually obligated through the Local 1909 union agreement, and the department received an enthusiastic response to Prenuvo and many firefighters requested urgent access to this service, driving the overall cost over the purchasing threshold of $100,000.
