Recommendation
That the Council participates in a facilitated retreat to provide feedback on proposed FY25 updates to the Strategic Roadmap for the City of Hayward.

SUMMARY
The City Council adopted the City’s first Strategic Roadmap in January of 2020. The current version of the Roadmap was adopted in June of 2023.
The goals of the February 10 Council Strategic Roadmap Retreat are:
• To conduct an initial brainstorm from Council on top priorities to inform staff’s FY25 budget requests.
• To get feedback from Council on staff’s proposed quarterly reporting structure, which would start in April.
• To have an initial discussion about the role that Commissions play in supporting Council priorities and objectives.
Staff will return to Council in March with an analysis for each proposed project that reflects its complexity and staffing impact.
