That the Council Economic Development Committee receives updates regarding Development Services Department activities.

SUMMARY

 

The Development Services Department (DSD), which is comprised of the Building, Planning, Code Enforcement, and Housing Divisions, has been actively processing applications and permits for new development and redevelopment projects, as well as addressing housing issues and community concerns.  Staff will present a highlight of these activities at the December 4th meeting.  Attached to this report is the Bi-Annual DSD Progress Report as of November 2023, which includes the status of many applications and developments as well as ongoing efforts within DSD.
