RECOMMENDATION

Recommendation

 

That the City Council adopts a resolution (Attachment II) approving an employment agreement between the City of Hayward and Jayanti Addleman to serve as the Interim City Manager and authorizes the Mayor to execute the agreement.

End

 

SUMMARY

 

Pursuant to Article VII of the Hayward City Charter, the City Manager shall be appointed by the Council and serve at the pleasure of the Council. On June 17, 2025 the City Council took action to appoint Library Services Director Jayanti Addleman as the Interim City Manager, effective July 1, 2025.
