Recommendation
That the Committee reviews and comments on this report and makes a recommendation regarding an Idle Free Bay Area Proclamation for Council adoption. Additionally, that the Committee gives direction to staff regarding a possible idle-free ordinance.

SUMMARY
This report presents a sample proclamation that may be presented to Council and summarizes anti-idling ordinances considered or adopted by other local jurisdictions. Staff is seeking direction regarding the possible preparation of a draft ordinance for an upcoming Committee meeting.
