RECOMMENDATION
Recommendation
That Council adopts the attached resolution:
1. Increasing the total project cost for the Interstate 880 (I-880)/ State Route 92 (SR-92) Reliever Route Phase I project by an additional $300,000; and
2. Increasing the construction contingency in the contract with O.C. Jones from $2,350,957 to $2,450,957 for a total construction contract amount not-to-exceed $13,500,000.

SUMMARY
O.C. Jones is the construction contractor for the I-880/SR-92 Reliever Route Phase I project. Construction is complete, and all change order requests and claims have been negotiated and resolved. This amendment increases the authorized funding by $300,000, and the construction contingency by $100,000. The additional cost was included in the Adopted FY19 Capital Improvement Program (CIP).
