That the Council receives and reviews information regarding the 21st Century Library and Community Learning Center’s Heritage Plaza.

SUMMARY
The new library’s completion is imminent and the next phase of the overall project, the Heritage Plaza restoration, will begin immediately after the new library opens. The new Plaza is estimated to be complete and operational in spring 2019. This report summarizes the history and features of Heritage Plaza, including gathering and event space, an arboretum of mature heritage trees, historic features, and a Children’s Garden.
Prior to the demolition of the old library, a farewell event is scheduled at the site at 11:00am Saturday, July 14, 2018.
