RECOMMENDATION

Recommendation

That the City Council adopts the attached resolution to appropriate a total of $40,000 from Asset Forfeiture Fund balance.

SUMMARY

The Hayward Police Department will utilize asset forfeiture funds currently in fund balance to enhance the Department’s narcotics testing capabilities and to provide training for narcotics detectives.
