RECOMMENDATION
Recommendation
That Council adopts a resolution (Attachment II):
1. Approving Addendum Nos. 1 and 2, providing clarification to the plans and specifications for the Fire Stations 2 - 5 Landscape Improvements Project; and
2. Awarding the contract to Los Loza Landscaping in the amount of $198,569 and authorizing the expenditure of up to $282,426 for the total project, including contingencies.

SUMMARY
The landscape design and construction for Fire Stations 2-5 was not included as part of the Fire Stations 1-5 Improvements Project. Fire Station 1 did not require landscape work as it is a newer station compared to Fire Stations 2-5. Mary Weber, Landscape Architect, provided the landscape design for construction. On May 21, 2019, Council approved the plans and specifications and Call for Bids. On June 18, 2019, four bids were received. Staff recommends award of contract to the responsible low bidder, Los Loza Landscaping, in the amount of $198,569.
