Adopt a Resolution Authorizing the City Manager to Negotiate and Execute an Agreement with Axon Enterprise, Inc. for Renewal of the Body Worn Camera Program in an Amount Not to Exceed $191,000 Per Year
RECOMMENDATION
That Council adopts a resolution (Attachment II) authorizing the City Manager to execute an agreement with Axon Enterprise, Inc. for the renewal of the Body Worn Camera Program.
SUMMARY
Staff is seeking an extension of the Hayward Police Department’s contract with Axon Enterprise, Inc. for the Body Worn Camera Program, which has been in place for over five years. The contract extension would cost $190,000 per year and is already incorporated in the City’s annual General Fund budget.
